Mampo is a 4 year old Mexico bred gelding. He won one race before coming to Thoroughbred Athletes. He is a beautiful flashy bay with potential to be a great hunter or dressage prospect. Mampo underwent surgery last Fall for a small bone chip in his knee. He had been turned out and definitely enjoyed his time playing. This is one of the sweetest horses ever. He was recently started under saddle and we really are really enjoying riding time with him!

 

Lindsey Smith adopted Mampo after swooning over him through his rehab. This lovely boy has only been gone a day (8/10/15) and has already been pulled from his stall 3 times for hand walking and grazing by his new fan club at the barn. Lindsey siad " He has been an absolute Prince Charming with everyone!" We can't wait to see what this boy will turn into and accomplish with Lindsey's guiding hands (and legs!)
