In early 2013, it was clear Erin needed a horse that would help her grow as a rider. As luck would have it, Red Road Okie also needed something: A person. Specifically, he needed a person who would love him, spoil him, and allow his talent to shine (his talent went all the way up to his ears, after all!).

After meeting the stunning redhead gelding for the first time, Erin’s ear-to-ear smile said it all. A few weeks later, Erin welcomed her new man, now nicknamed “Dexxter,” to his new home. The two quickly bonded (peppermints and carrots helped their relationship flourish!), and together they worked hard in their lessons. They paid off when the pair did well in the show ring in 2013.
